Electrical Concepts Inc. started in Riverside in 1989, when David, a 29-year-old electrician with years of field experience, decided to build something of his own. The push came from his wife, Dora, who believed they could take the risk, lead the work themselves, and create a company with a higher standard of accountability.
Their first calls came from a simple Pennysaver ad. From there, ECI grew from residential service work to tract homes, multifamily projects, and eventually the commercial and industrial scopes the company is known for today. More than three decades later, that same family standard continues with the next generation, including Alfred, helping carry the company forward across Southern California.
